So. Cal is heating up. 2,000 acre blaze in Temecula. Crews from Centra Cal., Madera and Fresno Co. CDF mobilized. This will be an interesting year.
I may change the tenor of this blog to reflect my impressions of the 2004 wildfire season in California and the west.
As a former fire captain with the California Dept of Froestry I am in a unique position to gain insight and report findings about current conditions and ongoing campaigns.
