New Blog; Firefighters For Giuliani

I posted a few days back my intentions to support Rudy Giuliani for President. Today I initiated a blog Firefighters For Giuliani. I am accepting links for exchange from firefighters or family members of firefighters who want their site associated with the Rudy Giuliani Presidential campaign effort.
Normally an apolitical sort I was moved by the unfair characterization of Giuliani by spokespersons of the fire union. I'm tired of ugly politics and want to direct my efforts towards supporting a true friend of firefighters.

Hi;

My name is Steve Standridge and I'm a Captain with a Denver metro fire department. I also started a blogsite (www.rudysfirefighters.coom) as a direct response to the visceral attacks of the IAFF's Executive Board, which has again proven to be a highly partisan organization. I also find myself a relatively lone voice in this effort as firefighters understandably are cautious to criticize the actions of the IAFF. In this case, though, the IAFF's E-Board has unfairly criticized Rudy for actions they "believe" to have happened without supplying definitive prove. In my mind, the union has shamelessly politicized the event for partisan purposes. Thanks for supplying your voice in this effort.

Hi Steve, I agree with your comment. I believe I have you linked on the Firefefighters for Giuliani site already. I think we are looking at our new President and firmly believe we are backing the right man for the job.
Be safe Steve!

Mike;
Thanks. I believe the site you have linked is for another site. Mine is www.rudysfirefighters.com. The other site is over at blogspot.com. Also, what department are you with? Position?

Mike;
My bad. I did see the link. Thanks. I've also linked to your site as well...

Hi Steve, I have your site now linked on both sites. Thanks for the mention over there.
I am retired from the California Department of Forestry. I spent time in San Luis Obispo and Santa Cruz Counties but fought fire statewide. Went out early on injuries. Last position held was fire captain. I miss it.
